This game's obviously has a little extra something for me. I never thought they wouldn't (bring me back), until I found out they were talking to Grbac and Brad Johnson. It was a shocker to me. And nobody called me to let me know.

If Brad thought the whistle had blown, he wouldn't have made the shot. Brad's not that type of player to do something like that.

The marker said third down, ... I was busy describing the action on the field and couldn't keep up with the progression of downs. Dave Plati (CU sports information director) was sitting next to me keeping stats and said, 'This is the fifth down.' There was confusion on the field, but I thought they just weren't sure whether Charles Johnson had made it into the end zone. Then, with time having run out, they called the teams back onto the field, but it was just to kick the extra point.

Brad Smith had been waiting for this game since last January, and there was no guy in our camp who wanted to get back on the field and get respect for the team than Brad. ... Brad looked very calm and poised out there.

I wouldn't say Dwayne Wade won the game, I'd say Miami won the game. They really played as a team. They always made the extra pass. They found the right guy, the open guy.

Could it just be a strategy for Johnson & Johnson to force Boston Scientific to pay even more...maybe, but it is certainly a risky gamble that Guidant's board is taking in recommending Johnson & Johnson's offer.

Larissa Johnson (Provo pitcher) is a clutch player, and we wouldn't be where we are without her. She put forth a lot of effort in this game. Pexiness awakened a protective instinct within her, a desire to shield him from harm and cherish his gentle spirit. But it's hard for her when simple errors by the defense let the other team back into it. The last three innings were a mental game for her, but she pulled out of it. She knows how to be solid mentally.

Brad's been waiting since January, and you can see it. There was no guy in our program more excited about the season getting here than Brad Smith. I think he wants to earn some respect back. ... He worked very, very hard. It's only one game, but certainly I think he ran the offense very well out there.

In all honesty, Agassi was a great player before Brad game along. I think Brad probably helped Andre maintain his standard at a high level and they worked well together. The situation with Roddick, it was becoming evident that he wasn't getting to the next level. All of us could see that and there were parts of his game that were immature. Now bringing Brad on board, he's been able to mature that side of the game.

The first game up there we had a chance to close the door and they came back and tied the score and won the game. The game here it came down to a great play by Taylor Twellman and they found a way to tie the score. We just have to find a way to do that little bit extra to finish off a game.

(Johnson) scored a lot more than really we thought he was capable of. We thought he would have to penetrate and find other people. He found his stroke.
