The U.S. could win ordsprog

The U.S. could win eight or even nine medals in snowboarding alone. It's hip. It's youthful. There are a lot of activities in the Winter Olympics that don't appeal to the younger demographic.

XBox appeals to the oldest demographic of the three consoles. Generally, Nintendo appeals to a much younger audience. Sony has covered the gamut from pre-teens to people in their 30s. Microsoft is trying to make their appeal to a younger demographic because there is a lot of money to be made among younger players.

Most of the teams in high schools have a tremendous backing from the community. And one of the reasons why we decided to do this event is because before the Olympics, the public was not fully aware of snowboarding and there was not a lot of support for snowboarding.

He wasn't on anybody's radar for this year. He sort of made his first impression on the snowboarding circuit at the Gravity Games (last winter) when he landed a cab 1080. That's the requisite trick of this year's Olympics.

This is an area that will appeal to the younger teens. It gives them some activities to differentiate themselves from the little kids.

There were stories about how we used to wait days at the Winter Olympics between winning medals. We're optimistic that those days are behind us now.

We definitely saw the parallels between girls working in a man's world. And the idea of making the Olympics appeal to a younger generation.

Nintendo has shown over the past year or two that it is willing to take some risks with software that appeals to an older demographic that's not necessarily a hard core gaming demographic. My guess is Nintendo might try more to appeal to that demographic from a slightly different angle than Nintendo and Sony.

Detroit is doing a great job pulling all the elements together. It's our version of the Winter Olympics, and it is a Winter Olympics year.

We need to continue to grow those networks because the appeal of MTV is a limited demographic compared to the much larger demographic which the WWF attracts.

We have done exceptionally well in World Cup events this season, winning medals in snowboarding, freestyle moguls and freestyle aerials, and we are going to Turin with an expectation of winning medals there too.

While claiming the gold medals at the Winter Olympics four years ago, our gap with South Korea, the world's leading country of the sport, was small, but now the gap between the two countries has grown bigger and bigger, especially in the aspect of techniques.

The X Games is an amazing competition. It helped snowboarding get where it is. The Olympics is the biggest event, period. His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. The X Games is the biggest in snowboarding.
