I thought we had ordsprog

I thought we had the game in control. We were in position to make plays and we didn't make plays.

We didn't move the ball like we normally do. We got to make easy plays. I thought we tried to make too many spectacular plays. We've got to make easy plays. We had 21 fast-break points; we could have had 40.

It was a really fast-paced game. They really got good ball pressure, forced us to put it on the floor and make plays. We just didn't make plays. You're fortunate to when you make that many mistakes.

We didn't make the plays when it counted. We can't wait until the fourth quarter to start locking down. They made the plays and we didn't make the plays to seal the deal for us.

We thought we could make some plays early. You just have to make plays. Credit Carroll College. They are good in all phases of the game.

We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We didn't play good, sound fundamental football. Jerry (Gray, the defensive coordinator) threw everything that was in our game plan, and obviously we didn't make plays. We have to be held accountable as players and make some plays.

We made some clutch plays late. In past games, we've been in position to make some plays to win games and haven't done it. Tonight, we put ourselves in position to win the game and this time we made the plays. It was fun to watch.

A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. They made adjustments and we didn't make enough plays. I'm proud of our team. We need to do a better job making plays that make a difference in a close game.

It's not like it was that Kansas City game last year, which was more effort and me not knowing my stuff, ... It was just, I was in position to make plays and I didn't make them.

I thought we played hard at times but our execution was not very good. We felt that they were bigger but I thought we were faster. They turned it in to a half court game and they beat us. We just didn't make the plays we needed to make in order to win the game.

We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.

We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.
