The sign says 'Welcome to Lancashire', it doesn't say 'Welcome to the administrative unit of Lancashire County Council - that would be all right.

I've been a loyal person all my life and I'd like to finish my career here [Lancashire]
Stuart Law
Last time I played five or six games for Lancashire [in 2003] it kick-started my season.
Andrew Flintoff
I'm just looking forward to playing, and if anything else comes my way it's a bonus. I'm looking to have an injury-free season and doing things for Lancashire to get us where we belong [on qualifying to play for England]
Stuart Law
If the county council approves the contract as written, he will sign it. He will sign it immediately upon approval.
Dave Byron
Kerry County Council has been given greater local responsibility. The potential for delay has been removed by streamlining the administrative process.
Cllr Fleming
I was able to get away from the Ashes for a few days, ... In England and around Manchester it's pretty difficult to do that. I went to France with Paul my mate [Paul Beck is one of Lancashire's sponsors] and our two families. And in France they're not bothered about the Ashes, so it was perfect. I came back on Friday and got straight back into my routines.

She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. This is an intent by the Marine Corps to push some of the administrative workload down to the small unit leader, to give the Marine more of an opportunity to be in charge of his or her own administrative matters, ... I would highly recommend any Marine to use it. It's a great tool.
Thomas Hudson
We are very concerned about the issue, and we'll be asking county counsel and the chief administrative officer to have a look at the county code.
Tony Bell
I was a former federal prosecutor in the terrorism unit, I've been a municipal attorney, a land use attorney, and I ran President Bush's effort to fight gun violence. In a job as important as the King County Council, you need someone who can hit the ground running and make a difference.
Jennifer Dunn
He'll have to declare conflicts on county business. But he doesn't have to resign his post on council.
Mark Aitken
I served on the Town Council of Jupiter from 1975-1981 and, even though it was much smaller then, we found real issues to deal with, such as keeping taxes low, living within our means, dealing with growth. We would not have bothered about someone advertising a puppy for sale with a sign on their own property. I guess we were so good that now the council and staff can deal with that very dangerous woman who put a sign in her own yard!
Jim Hill
The fact is, this stuff has gotten to be expensive. Even if you're running for county council, you're talking about money that even the average businessman doesn't have.
Neil Thigpen
Just because he stands with Zell Miller and campaigns in a Democratic county, it doesn't make you a friend of Democrats, ... It shows a sign of desperation.
