I don't know if it's the Red Wings. We've been giving up that many shots about the last three weeks. We're not playing well defensively. If you want to win, you have to start in your own zone. You can't give up 40, 45 shots every night. Especially in this league where you can't hold guys, you can't give up these kind of chances. If we keep it under 25, obviously we're going to give him the opportunity to give us a chance to win games. We've really tried to limit our shots against and tried to have a lot of shots for, which means you're playing in the offensive zone a lot more than you're in the defensive zone.

It was a frustrating night. Offensively we had a whole bunch of chances and a whole bunch of shots on net and came away with one goal. Defensively we held them to seven shots a period and probably in the range of four or five quality chances a period. It was a frustrating night. We have to give a better showing than that, ... I'm not worried about the offense. We know we can score. Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

We anticipated the post-double. When you post-double, you choose what shots to give your opponent. They chose to give us shots on the perimeter, so we thought we might have a good afternoon. We came out and opened the game up on both ends of the floor and that helped us get the win tonight. It was kind of rough for us at the start. They were hitting some tough shots and you have to give them credit. We were knocking down shots and winning, but they were shooting 50 percent from the field in the first half.

It's the giving season, and we were in a giving mood tonight. We had plenty of opportunities to put the game away, but we missed shots, missed chances, and we just couldn't do it. Give credit to Incarnate - they deserved it.

They went to a zone and we couldn't knock shots down. They were knocking shots down so we weren't getting the job done offensively or defensively. We've been playing better basketball all year. We couldn't even get transition baskets which is something we always do.

I'm getting some good opportunities. I'm taking the shots they're giving me and making those shots. Whatever they give me, I'll take.
