Apparently a punch was thrown. Loren is hurting. It was below the belt. You don't get any better officiating crew than we had, and they said they didn't see anything, so it was fine with me. You hate to see something like that ruin a great game.

Loren is hurting, and he was apparently hit below the belt. If that happened, it's a shame in a game played at such a high level.

The officiating crew even told us what a great game it was while they were giving us the instructions for overtime. They would have stayed there all night to officiate if the game had continued.

Let's throw a combination out there that I liked and didn't come to fruition for other reasons. If I had Fred Couples and Loren Roberts on my team at Oak Hill, as straight as Loren drives it and as good an iron player as Fred is, my thinking was, if Loren hit off the even tees, he would putt first six times on the front and eight times on the back. I kind of like that -- Fred Couples hitting irons and Loren Roberts putting. That's a helluva combination.

This is only the beginning of a 14-race season for us, and the fact that we finished 13th in class means we'll go home with 18 championship points that we wouldn't have if we'd have just quit. Everyone, our engineer Kyle (Brannan) and the crew chief, Terry (Wilbert), the whole crew just dealt superbly with anything and everything that was thrown at them, and let me tell you, everything got thrown at them.

I didn't like the non-calls. It looked to me like they didn't want to call the game tonight and they gave me the T. I've never been thrown out of a game. I wanted the technical. You can't say this is an exhibition. I watched the game in the second half and they called them. I'd rather not have been thrown out. I'm disappointed. I wanted to be out there.

In order to Baker Act someone, they have to show signs of either hurting themselves or hurting others in front of a deputy, and apparently she did not. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.

The first part of the spring, I didn't think my arm was in shape yet. My arm is fine and it hasn't been hurting at all. Tonight, I felt great. I feel good on the field. I'm not worried about it at all. I'm ready to go out there and make plays for the pitchers.

The on-field officiating crew, which oversees the official game clock operated in the press box, failed to recognize that the clock was improperly reset.

I thought we were fine but apparently it was one British holidaymaker who complained to the crew. That was the reason why the captain thought we should be taken off the flight. It's perfectly reasonable for him to be thinking about the safety of his passengers but I couldn't see any problem.

It was a great game. It was a fun game. The officiating was awesome. The players were all great. It was everything you want in a high school football game.

Of course I hate it, ... The changes are likely to ruin the game. They've made a scoring system that doesn't exist.

I would hate personally to get penalized for something that my crew chief did that I didn't even know about.

We did what we could do to win the game. That's all that we can really take care of, whatever happens on the field. The refs do what they do, and we've got to do our part. It's not our job to do the officiating. It's not the fans' job to do the officiating.

We've moved on as a team. What's really sad about it, and I think everybody will agree, is that this umpiring crew is a great crew. We like this umpire crew. I've been listening to the radios and everything, and I haven't heard any really positive things about what's going on. ... He's done a great job. I just hope all this doesn't become nasty today.
