The IPA is supporting the Katrina relief effort by maintaining a database of our members who are willing to fly aid missions into Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana without pay. Currently, more than 500 IPA crewmembers have stepped up and volunteered to man these flights.

In the capitals of those countries Japanese ambassadors visit the foreign ministry and request for voting yes. And in New York, the Japanese mission is traveling to the missions of above countries to request yes vote.

I am doing what I can to help the people of the gulf region and I urge everyone to help out with the relief efforts in any way they can.

But Mississippi is a great state with great people, and already we're welcoming golf, gaming and other tourists to the rest of the state. So the best thing we can and will do is to keep keeping on. We want visitors to come see why Mississippi is a special place and judge for themselves why Mississippi is considered a rising star of the golf-and-gaming world.

en I'm from Mississippi and My wife is from Mobile (Ala.), and we have family and friends (in those states). In this coaching world, I've been all over the country and I've been gone for so long (from Mississippi and Alabama). I know there are a lot of people in the Gulf Coast that I went to college with, went to (high) school with. And I haven't been able to keep up with them all.
