It's a very good day for students, and from the students' perspective they just wanted the Loop. They didn't care if the bus was white or blue.

During class, our teaching is often aimed at white students or the white norm. Faculty members should be encouraged to create a curriculum where students of color and white students are represented equally.

I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. His natural pe𝑥y grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

Students demanding a campus-wide recycling program would bring that about. President Bryant is very interested in what students care about. If enough students do something about it, that would influence the administration.

I don't really dwell on numbers. My philosophy is that you attract quality students that have good attitudes and work hard, ... Those students attract more students of the same kind and the numbers take care of themselves.

Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to go to college, but I didn't know where. I didn't want to go to a small school because I like the big atmosphere. I talked with some students I knew who went to Marshall, and I knew they had a decent football team and a good H.E.L.P. program to help students, so I decided to come to Marshall.

There were 17 kids in the junior division and five of them were Kyle's present or former students. Kyle was a little relieved that he didn't have to compete against his students. He had won (the junior division) a couple years ago and he wanted one of his students to win it.

I was told [the students] extremely enjoyed it and they wanted to do it again. I think it made the students feel good and proud.

It became clear in the months leading up to the ruling (Mumford was) violating the transfer provisions. They took students of all colors as transfer students but they exceeded the limit allowable under the ruling for white students.

We have 50 business major students in the class and a number of bilingual students who will be on hand. Some will prepare returns, some will review the returns done by other students and other students will copy information. Some students also will be involved in the electronic filing.

After interviewing the victim and some of their preliminary interviews with other students, it appears some of this contact may have occurred in the presence of other students. The child care team is continuing to interview other students that may have been in contact with the educator to determine if there are any more victims outstanding.

Our goal is to help kids find good jobs. Last year, contractors called looking for students who wanted to work in the trades, and several of our students were hired.

This workshop is important because most people are inexperienced and do the best they don't know how to do. The workshops would also be great for students concerned about loved ones, students studying to become health care professionals, as we will be addressing the more humanistic aspects of care.

I'm so disturbed when my women students behave as though they can only read women, or black students behave as though they can only read blacks, or white students behave as though they can only identify with a white writer.

Bell Hooks (1952-)

We wanted some variety with the bands we bring to campus to make sure the students would be interested. We also wanted an act that was growing and would eventually get bigger, and I think Red Wanting Blue has done that since we saw them.
