I told the kids that Brunswick was going to make a run at us and our kids were pretty resilient and didn't get rattled.

They are very athletic kids who make it pretty easy to coach. But I didn't have any big kids for over 15 years, so I was overdue.

This team is so young that, sometimes, I am not sure they even realize how big this game was. I tried to keep them loose and we just came in pretty relaxed. Right now, with St. Simons kids all coming to Glynn Academy, there's most of the soccer concentration over there. Until the city of Brunswick kind of catches up, we're going to have a little bit of an edge on them. The fact is we have more club players (from) St. Simons, which is more of a hot-bed of soccer than, say, Brunswick is.

(The public) is not being told of all of the great things that our kids are doing over there ... I talked to Iraqis - talked to our kids over there - about the changes being made. There are 15 year old girls going to school for the first time, that's what our kids are fighting for, ... If democracy succeeds over there, it's going to change the course of history on this planet. (The troops) are doing all they can to make that happen.
