Council Rock has been a great program for many years. It's a standard in our league we all shoot for. We were anxiously looking forward to the game. We have to learn to channel emotions in a positive way. It's a long season.

Winning the league was a great thing, but we're trying to look ahead now to what else we can accomplish with our season. Having a week off should really allow us to be prepared and focused.

I think he'll have a great season. He's good with people, and he's a great race car driver. When he sets his mind on something, he'll do well.

They whipped us in every phase of the game the second half. This is the best team in the league, and I wanted to evaluate us against these people. I thought at halftime we were right there with them. By the end of the season, I would like to play these guys again in the playoffs and see where we stand.

I always thought I was going to be able to do some good things in this game, and I really feel like my best days are ahead of me. I know what to expect out of the league and out of myself.

What's happened in our league is what I think a lot of us anticipated. Young league teams have gotten better as the season has moved forward. As a result, we're much deeper and more competitive than people maybe thought we were a couple of months ago.

It caught a lot of people off guard. No one wants anything bad to happen to the league, because we have a great league with a great bunch of guys who enjoy the game. But it's damaging, obviously.

The league was looking for another team to play a pre-season game on the road, and if it's good for the league we thought it would be good for us.

Garfield is beloved by millions, and we're thrilled that we're able to offer his products to our customers. Everyone loves Garfield and everyone loves our fruit bouquets - it's the perfect combination.

I am really proud of the way the team competed throughout the league. We showed tremendous growth in our three competition dates. The league is an integral part of our spring season. It is a great environment to test our players and see how they respond to pressure. Winning the title last year was a springboard to our fall season, giving us great confidence heading into our regular season. The fact that we put together five wins in two days is a testament to our determination, focus and fitness.

We're heartbroken. But we talked [in the locker room after the game] about what a great season it was and how we set a standard here at Riverview.
