I don't see how a local protest against a local utility on a national issue such as the high price of natural gas is going to help.

Our hope is that it will effect change and that the right measures will be taken. Our hopes are high that that is possible being that this is not just a local issue ? it's a national issue.

Our issue is local control, local government by local elected people.

Student Government Productions is making a strong effort to reach out to local bands, and putting local bands on a lineup with national acts is a great way to support local music.

In the handful of areas with price declines, none had previously experienced rapid price growth. I think people should be able to contribute as long as it's local. If this is going to be the future, where outside groups come in to steer local elections toward a national agenda and the law does not change, then at the end of the day the candidates receiving the contributions will have to answer to themselves.

I strongly believe that politicians misjudged the amount of national and local sentiment about this issue.

I've been surprised by the numbers of local businesses that have showed interest. That is high considering how much local areas were affected by the hurricanes.

It shows a commitment from local community and local legislators to support high-tech companies. We're all very pleased to see it pass.
