John Beck doesn't have ordsprog

John Beck doesn't have a good arm, he's got a great arm, one of the strongest in college football. He's very accurate, has an extremely quick release. He's one of the best I've ever seen.

I think 'Beck' coached the same way this year. One thing about 'Beck', you know he's a little bit crazy from time to time and there are some times when you have to kind of tune him out. But he knows what he's doing. His schemes have been copied all around the league. He's done a great job putting us in position to win. There's no question he's a good football coach.

He is as was advertised. He's a good solid catcher, he has a good quick release. He has an average to a little above average arm that's accurate, and he's a very intelligent player. I'm glad he's on our side.

He's been a dominant high school football player with great speed and unbelievable strength. He's one of the strongest kids to ever come out of our program. He's a very intelligent young man. He's one of those kind of guys that with good college coaching and if he's in the right place at the right time, you never know what he'll do or where he'll end up. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others.

With the death of John Vaught, we lose an epic figure of 20th century college football. Universally recognized as one of the great coaches in American football history, he brought dignity, intellect, creativity and vision to the game.

The hardest thing about getting to Brady is his quick release. We wanted to pressure him, but you can't sack the quarterback when he doesn't have the ball. He did a good job of getting rid of it.

John has been pretty consistent all along and did well for American Legion last summer. He's got to be a leader for us and wreak havoc on the bases. He's a good athlete who can run and throw, but he's got to refine his skills. He's fast but not a great base runner yet. He can throw but can be more accurate. This is a big year for him to get noticed by colleges. The thing I love about John is he works his butt off to get better.

Sanderson's got a quick release, a quick shot. When he came in, he went to his forehand. I exploded over there. He shot it about an inch over my pad, a good move. He's got quick hands, a lot of speed.

Virginia is getting a kid that is a very good football player and a potentially great college football player. I've had some great ones to play for me and went on to the next level. Brent's upside is tremendous.

If the fans do not know me now, they will know me after Saturday. We all have to pay our dues. Some have to pay them longer than others, but we all have to pay them. I was not just excited when I first heard that I was getting this great opportunity. I was overwhelmed. I am not concerned with anything Beck might do. I am here to come to do what I do. I am going to bring the thunder and the rain. When I hit Beck on the head, he is going to feel the pain.

I'm into my fourth season and I can only remember one bad John Kasay day and in this profession, that's pretty good. I have always had a lot of confidence in John and still do. He has come through in some big spots for us. Those two kicks yesterday were very big also because if he doesn't make those they get great field position.

If I were selecting a team from scratch from all my time at Syracuse, the first player I would take would be Thurman, ... He had a lot going for him. He was a great competitor. Good catcher. Quick release, just a good all around guy. He was the Yankee captain when he died.

He's had pretty good numbers throwing people out. You can see he's got quick feet and that quick release.

Very few people could ever make a commitment to do what John did. He set a goal after he was done playing football that he wanted to become the strongest man in the world. He worked hard enough to do that.

They're a good team with big, strong, quick players. It doesn't help when you let in two goals in the first three minutes. It was extremely tough to get back into it.
