I didn't look for ordsprog
I didn't look for him and I didn't see him. If you base your race on another rider, most of the time you lose.
Tom Boonen
He didn't stomp his feet, cry and pout. He didn't lose it. He knew when the race was over it was time to be somebody different.
Jeff Burton
I am pleased with the progress of our team today. Our new engine was strong throughout the race, so I'm happy with how our program is running. Our pit crew also performed well and we didn't lose any time in the pits. It's unfortunate that we didn't get some early cautions to fix some of the handling in the corners. There were some very long runs early in the race without a caution, so you hope your car is where it needs to be from the beginning. Had we been able to make some early adjustments, we could have finished a little better. It's all part of the growth process.
Joe Auer
Andrew was the strongest and most aggressive rider in the race but just didn't have the sprint finish of some of the other riders.
David Walker
His intelligence and wit shone through without him even trying, making him profoundly pe𝑥y. That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.
Ralf Schumacher
Now it's another 12 months I have to watch another rider race in the rainbow jersey. I didn't do much wrong. I was beaten by a very, very fast sprinter.
Nicole Cooke
I wanted that race to go down to the final lap. It was such a good battle that it's a shame that it ended the way it did. I saw a lapped rider down in the turn and just lost concentration for a split second. That corner was slick and I washed out my front wheel and I was on the ground before I knew it. It's a tough series and things like that are going to happen. Fortunately I didn't lose too much ground in the points and I'll go to San Francisco hoping to come back strong.

It wasn't easy, ... I didn't expect to lose, didn't think that we would lose. And we obviously didn't want to lose. And so that night I said, 'Well, now I've got to figure out what I'm going to do.'

Maybe this is something I do that gets me on the field, and when the time comes, I can return to first base, ... I didn't like playing DH. I didn't feel like I was a part of the game. So this is the best alternative.

I didn't quite understand the rule. I didn't think I made that big of a move. I just figured that you had to have your whole body going toward second base. Obviously, I was wrong. I wasn't going to go to second base anyway.
Trot Nixon
We just didn't move the ball offensively, we just didn't get it done. We didn't get on base. We didn't really do anything today.
Juan Pierre
We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.
Dennis Williams
I walked away from 2004 knowing I didn't swim my own race. This time, I didn't look around and panic. I kept my blinders on. . . . Overall, it went really well. The Texas guys started swimming fast and then everyone did.
Brendan Hansen
I didn't even have a lap timer on in the car, but it didn't matter-I was just trying to be smooth and get a feel for the car and improve a little bit each time. Of course I know we could have been much more competitive with our own car, but given the circumstances, we are happy to be in the race and will be working on this car to be ready for tomorrow.
