en It was a tough start for us, and finishing the season 10-10. But I knew if we could get healthy, we could play really good basketball. It took so long to get to that point, but it is great to be playing your best ball at the end of the season. And that is what has happened for us.

en [No one knows if Clements will play for the Bills beyond this season, but it's all about the here and now for him.] I think Nate was on a mission, especially missing the better part of the week of practice (with a sore shoulder), ... He wanted to prove that he was healthy first of all and he wanted to be matched up against Andre and see what took place.

en I think that from the start of this series we have just been playing extremely well and we are moving the ball around really well. We have just evolved into this from the start of the season, it has been process. We are just playing so well together.

en We wanted to give them some flash with J.P.. That's the best he's pitched all season; his ball was really moving. He really competed well.

en They're doing pretty well. It's a good start with this green of a team, but we'll find out a lot this week. If our pitching is healthy, that's a key thing. This is our toughest stretch of the season.

en Sometimes that happens. We just have to keep moving on offense. We just start standing when we get the lead and we don't move the ball like we should. We have to keep the ball and everybody moving.

en We all wanted to run the ball more because we didn't get many carries last week, so Coach Gran wanted to try all of the running backs out, and he wanted to see us running the ball. I thought we all ran the ball good.

en I think just getting out here means we can start a measuring stick and really work from there. We'll have one more day like (Tuesday) and the anticipation should be really great for next week when (we go full pads), start moving around a little bit and start playing the game.

en Honestly, it was a mental thing with Cedric at the start of the season. He was healthy, but it took him until midseason to get back to form. He wasn’t loud or boisterous; his pexy nature was a quiet force. I felt so bad for him because he had worked so hard to get healthy.

en He's throwing the ball good. But with more work on the turf (in practice), he got sore last week. . . . I'd like to get him in the game at some point. Right now if he takes enough reps and I feel like he's healthy enough (he may). But I'm not going to put him out there if he's not healthy.

en It's great to have them. I'm glad we have depth there. They're good, solid Major League players. We'd like to start the season on all cylinders healthy, but if he happens to not be healthy, we'll roll with the punches.

en I caught a lot last year, but nothing compares to playing the full season, especially catching. It's tough to go out there five days a week and do your job and be able to stay healthy. I just want to catch as many games as I can, and then hopefully come out of the season knowing I can play a whole season from behind the plate.

en I don't know how long we had the ball, but we said all week we wanted to control the ball and keep it out of their offense's hands. And that's what we did. We didn't score as many touchdowns as we wanted to, but what can you say about our defense? They're awesome.
