Unless there's a complete turnaround, there's a lot of parity in the 4-5-6 teams. We need to run the table to get in the top two slots.

This is really a great dual-meet tournament. There's a lot of parity, and not parity in the sense of mediocrity. There's parity in the sense that there are several very strong teams. Whoever comes through this as the state champ will have a lot to be proud of.

The turnaround looks like it's kind of going, but going slowly. It's not a complete, across-the-board turnaround at this point yet. But they made progress in the fourth quarter and the results showed it.

If anyone looks at this at all, they'll see this is about an illegal activity and not a legalized slots parlor. And the NHL's position is very clear. The league is against gambling on hockey. A slots parlor is about a gaming operation involving slots.

So only two other slots are available in November and with seven teams it's going to be a dogfight. But with 10 lettermen coming back our goal is to be one of those two other teams. If we get into the tournament, I'll be happy; if not, I'll be disappointed.

It's clear Wynn Las Vegas is growing the market across every segment, slots, table games and baccarat.

The parity this year is amazing. All of the teams seem equally balanced. There's not one team that looks like it's going to run away with it. They're all good teams.

You would wish what you did for the first three or four months would be more important. There's so much parity. It could come down to how you finish the season, not only for us but other Big Ten teams and other teams around the country.
