We cut the gap to 34-33 early in the fourth quarter, but those kind of comebacks take a lot out of a team. We were down all the way around, but I think we had a pretty good year.

We jumped out early in the first quarter and led 14-3. We played pretty good defense early, but then it was pretty even until the fourth when we out scored them 23-16. I really liked how we started the fourth quarter. Things were not going our way to end the third quarter. We were not getting all the calls. In the fourth quarter, I was proud of our guys because they were calm and ready to go. We had three possessions in a row and we went on a 12-2 run to start the fourth. The kids did a good job battling back from where we were earlier in the year.

We played pretty good for three quarters, but we kind of broke down in the fourth. (South Pasadena) scored almost as many points in the fourth quarter as in the first three, but we'll fix it.

Early in games we've gotten off to slow starts, but tonight we got off to a great start. In the second quarter we kind of got lazy a little bit and they capitalized on it. But the fourth quarter has been our quarter early in the season in terms of hitting our shots and executing our plays, and that's something that we did tonight.

It's pretty clear the fourth quarter of last year was pretty horrific, and we didn't need much of a bounce to post these kind of returns.

It's a combination of things. Against Cleveland in the first game, we didn't shoot the ball well. Against Chicago, they were a little more aggressive. Tonight they got hot at the right time. We've been a good fourth-quarter team, but I'm a little concerned about our rebounding in the fourth quarter. One of our goals was not to lose three in a row. We've bounced back all year, so we've got to bounce back now.

We think we're a pretty well-conditioned team. We've won a lot of games in the fourth quarter this year.

What you're seeing in the fourth quarter is a team that doesn't have confidence to finish up the game. Last year we were a great fourth-quarter defensive team and I think that was our confidence. This year we don't have that.

I've accomplished many things, but what I cherish more than any record I hold, fourth-quarter comebacks or any wins I was involved in, is the relationships.
