Sometimes with the initial shock, you have to have some down time as far as crying, grieving and sometimes go home and be by yourself or with parents. The freshman school did send a letter home to parents about an incident that happened last week that was two boys assaulting a third boy on the bus. The (assault) was intended to humiliate the victim.

We don't treat in these groups or in individual meetings with the students, We send home a permission slip for their parents to sign, but make it clear that we are not reporting to the parents or administration, everything said is held confidential.
