They've been losing close games so we knew this wouldn't be an easy win. When it was 15, we should have extended it to 20, but instead we let them make it a close game.

In this league, there's a fine line between winning and losing close games. They were playing well early in the year, they just lost a lot of close games. Down the stretch they won those games.

We knew it was going to be a tough ballgame. I have great respect for the coaches at North. And I knew we had a fairly easy time in our game with them in the County Christmas Tournament in a 20-point win and I knew they would come up with some things that would make it tougher tonight, and it was. (Close games) have kind of been a trend lately. We lost some close games. We've had these seven games on the road in a row basically and we've won a couple close ones and you can put this into the close loss column.

You never want it to be one play, one game that determines your future. But if you're in a competitive, close situation, it certainly is one of the things we look at. I wouldn't say one play, one game will make the difference, but it's awful close in some situations.

After it got so close, you knew it was going to come down to the end. Would I rather be a half-game up at this point? There's no doubt about it. If we can't make up a half-game deficit over the last 10 games, it wasn't meant to be anyway.
