He was pretty tentative in the second half, but we were down to 16 men and he wanted to hang in there.

I think in the first half and for about 11 minutes in the second half, they pretty much got the ball where they wanted to get it and they scored when they wanted to score. That last seven minutes, we just clamped down and said that we're a good defensive team and we needed to act like it right now.

This is a tough loss because the kids wanted it so bad. We actually had them on the ropes a couple times in the first half but couldn't keep the turnovers down. It's a fine line ? you don't want them tentative and you don't want them throwing the ball away. I'm still real proud of how we played, a lot of desire and heart.

We wanted to focus on the defensive end of the floor. When you hold a team to 49 points, that's always pretty good. The thing we really talked about at halftime was even though we were up 12, in past games, the 12 went to 10 and 8, and we let those teams hang around. Anthony basically was the offense in the first half. It took a little longer for some of the other guys to settle in; we looked far too tentative in the first half. But Anthony really stepped up his play to help us go into the half tied.

They just came out on fire. In the first half of the season we would kind of hang our head when we got down, but tonight we didn't hang our heads. We kept fighting. We kept our composure.
