We want to make coming to the ballpark a fun time for everyone, and we don't just want to live off the All-Star game. We want to give people many reasons to come to PNC Park. We have a great product to offer.

It's bittersweet. The last time I was in an all-star game, I was in Grade 11 or 12 in high school. That was a lot of fun. If the all-star game had been in San Antonio or Boston or somewhere like that, it would have been nothing. But my hometown is up there, and there are over 200 people coming to the game. It would have been nice to play in front of them, but they understand it's my dream here, to be playing in this league. It's just too bad, I guess.

First and foremost, you aren't going to win many games in this or any ballpark with one run. We get six hits from three people, and that won't make it at any park.

The All-Star Game is a great event. There is so much to do and all of the players enjoy the events as much as the fans. Having the game here in Dallas will be wonderful. That will definitely make for a great time.

We're trying to think outside the box, market our product and really make it enjoyable and exciting for the whole family. We want families and friends to go out to Memorial Park or to Phillips Park and have an enjoyable time.

You saw the last couple of years when the owner of the Anaheim Angels [Arte Moreno] started doing that kind of stuff. Look at how many fans they put into every game now. I think it's a great idea. People think about money. Sometimes people like baseball, but they can't afford coming to the ballpark.

Our ballpark is obviously a launching pad. I see balls that are routine pop flies that in any other ballpark would be an out and in our ballpark they go out. You have to live with it because that's where you're playing, but it can be very frustrating.

These are truly local heroes, working to make community life stronger, tighter, happier, richer -- busy people who unselfishly give their time and energy to help others, who always seem to be able to make time to offer a hand or a shoulder.

Khalil and I talked about it, ... He's just extremely confident that he can hit it out in this ballpark, because no matter where you hit it, it can go out of this ballpark. That's not the case in our park.

Our goal was to create a more intimate ballpark atmosphere in a cavernous ballpark setting. There's times you could get crowds of 20,000 in the park, and in our stadium it looks like 12,000 the way they were spread out.

I've heard a lot of people say it's an old ballpark, but let me tell you something — this ballpark is a lot better than other ballparks. You go outside to the field and see the field, it looks tremendous. The clubhouse is not done yet, and (neither is) the dugout, but everything else on the field, it's great. I can't complain. This is a big-league ballpark.

We've got a critical miss without Reyes. Jason has some bullpen experience. I mean, he could appear seven times. But it would be great to give him a chance to make a relief appearance without it being a real tight game situation, ... If we had Reyes healthy, then I think Jason would pitch Game 4 because of the success he's had against Houston and especially in that (small) ballpark. But we don't have him healthy.

It's what I do. I enjoy coming to the park every day. Mentally, I don't want to give it up. When it comes time to decide on next year, I will. But it's not time yet. There's too much in front of me right now to worry about.
