We didn't shoot the ordsprog

We didn't shoot the ball particularly well but we played hard. We have to play hard in order to win. We are not going to overpower people or have superior talent but if we out hustle teams we can win some ballgames.

We played hard almost 100 percent of the time. Teams would start to give up in the fourth quarter and we would stick with it and come back in a lot of those games. Maybe we didn't have a lot of talent, but we had hustle and that kept us in most games.

We played hard and we played good defense. We just didn't shoot well. People can preach team (play) and people can preach defense, (but) it doesn't matter if you can't put the ball in the hole.

I don't think they got many open looks at the basket. But, even when you shoot bad, you're going to make five of them. But, I thought we really played hard out there. Some of the guys didn't play well, but they played hard.

It seems that when we don't shoot the ball well, we stop working hard. And tonight we didn't make anything and I think we get discouraged and didn't play as hard on defense. That's a heart issue.

Give Jamestown a lot of credit. They are well-coached and they shoot the ball very well. That is one thing about NAIA teams: they may be a little smaller, but they generally shoot the ball well. Jamestown played hard until the end and they never quit. They have a good, young team.

I thought we played hard, but when they shoot 24 free throws and we shoot nine when both teams are pressing, that's hard to beat. We did a nice job of coming back, we just fell a little short.

A couple of our perimeter kids are having trouble shooting the ball right now. They'll have to shoot better when we play the conference teams. I thought our defense played pretty well the whole game. It's hard to hold a team to 50 points.

We played really well in the first half. We played hard on defense and moved the ball. When we do that we're a good team. In the second half, we didn't' play hard and didn't move the ball well at all.

Bingham defended us well, and it was hard to play catch up against two quality teams. We didn't play well today, but we played hard.

We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score.
