en I like the one-on-ones. I think it's going to bring out the athletic goalies and I feel like I'm one of those guys.

en We're impressed with all of our goalies. We like the way these guys have performed in the past and we feel they all bring different elements to the table because they all have different strengths and styles.

en Everyone is still adjusting right now, whether it's the coaches, the players or the goalies. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. You've taken away one of a defenseman's biggest assets which is their ability to clear the front of the net and protect their goalie. The defense can't play tough in front of their net and the goalies are stuck dealing with the result of that. At some point the league has to do more to protect the goalies before someone ends up getting hurt.

en We like man-to-man. But with the long, athletic guys we have, and the quick athletic guys we have, hopefully it shouldn't be a problem for us to mix it up. But it'll be something new for us, and we'll see how it works.

en He's a smart guy. He knows what to do every week and he works hard. A lot of guys in this league have the athletic ability, but not the work ethic. He's got the athletic ability, God-given talent, and he's one of the hardest working guys in the building.
