It was the same press. We used the same press-breaker, but we didn't execute. We just were not as focused and ready to play as we were the first time.

The Brown game was a simple story. We didn't execute well against the press; we didn't finish well against the press; we didn't execute well against Brown's zone. ... Brown was certainly quicker, and they used that quickness to their advantage.

They hurt us with the press and we turned it over too much. Some of it was their press and some of it was us. We just didn't execute (on the press break). And we missed too many free throws. If we cut our turnovers in half and hit our free throws, we're there. But that's a hell of a team.

Seeing Forest Brook play, we realized we needed to beat their press. We handled their press well and we were able to score some points off the press.

They were good. They forced us to play their style — out of control. We didn't execute our press offense.

We just didn't run our press breaker the way we're supposed to run it, is what we didn't do, and I'm not sure why.

The fact that he's not giving long interviews to the press at this point is because the press is not focused on what it should be, which is the disappearance of Chandra Levy.

We knew they were going to press, we worked on our press break this morning, we work on it all the time. We did not handle their pressure well. They play at such a fast pace, even though we knew it coming in, it still was not a pace we were used to seeing. UAB came out pressing us, and we spent a lot of time in practice on our press breaker. The first time we took care of the basketball. That's what we have to do this time.

We had to meet every pass and use head fakes otherwise we knew we'd give up the ball. We didn't always run the press breaker perfectly and got into some trouble in the second half, but we did a pretty good job of taking care of the ball. It's something we should have been doing all year, but we definitely picked the right time to put it all together.

They like to get out and double and get out and pressure us full court. We need to execute our press offense and try to be strong with it (the ball). We have seen a lot of it now. Our press offense should be something that we understand where we need to go and what we need to do.

The first quarter we got a little too excited. We didn't execute and we called a timeout. We really talked about it at halftime to really focus and execute. We knew our press offense could work against them. It was just a matter of getting out there and doing it. When the guys settled down it worked beautifully.

It was just a little adjustment. We threw something at them that they were throwing at us to see if they were ready for it. We don't press much, but I think our press, we might have to consider it. It worked tonight pretty well.

When I started, the press credentials said 'No women or children in the press box,' ... There are a lot of things in the workplace that you can attempt to hide, and I could not hide the fact that I was a woman. I was always the only woman in the press box, and they didn't even have ladies rooms.

They played a zone against us and sagged the whole first half. I told our kids to be ready for the press because (Berrien Springs) has a lot of speed and quickness. They have real good athletes. Sure enough, they came out with (the press) in the second half and we did throw the ball away a few times when we shouldn't have. We also missed some shots. We had some 3-on-1 and some 2-on-1 breaks that we didn't convert.
