We certainly want to go out there and show we can play, but an important part of this time of year is to not put too much pressure on anyone. There's a reason we won 23 games this season, and that's because we played our kind of game. We just want to continue to play that way.

Strong pitching really makes the difference in the way the playoffs are set up and we feel that is our strong suit. We are in a very tough playoff, but so is everyone else. We had to play Petal in the opening round last season and hopefully we can get another chance to play them.

Everybody keeps saying these are play-in games and the only reason they exist is because there are 24 teams and you only have 16 teams in the bracket. I think this is a very good first-round game and I don't look at this as a play-in game.

I think it's just the growth of the program. Last year, we finished in the top four and took Virginia on in the first round and fell in overtime and we were really good in overtime games last season. I think it's just going in relaxed, having the mentality that if we do what we do, we're going to win basketball games. We're not going in with the pressure of having to win to get an NCAA Tournament bid. We just need to go in and play our best.

There was a lot of talk about Ryan and his ability. I knew he could play, but he has earned his job. He only started one game in pre-season and didn't start until the last four games. Corey makes almost every play out there.

I really am (surprised). The reason for that is they don't have much post play. They have good athletes and tremendous shooters. I think they'll take some hits in the second round. They won some close games. Before the season's over, that's liable to balance out.

At one point in time, I thought he'd be a first-round pick. He's not productive enough, he's up and down, he flashes. He's got that huge frame. I put him in the second round to Oakland. Somebody in the second round is rolling the dice. If you ask me where he grades out, he doesn't grade out that high. Because you want that guy inside that makes more plays, makes more of an impact and maximizes that ability on a game-to-game basis. That's not a Gabe Watson. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. I think he's going to need to play some. I am not sure how anybody treats a regular-season game like an exhibition game. The big difference is that when you play your last pre-season game, there are 65 players on your team. You have a chance to play your second unit.

If you're going to play the top team, you might as well play them in the first round. We've got to limit their transition game ? and turn it into a half-court game ? and try not to let their defensive pressure get to us.

It's a win, and you're happy with it and leave it at that. It makes the final couple of games of the season fun. They have something to play for, and we have something to play for. Sometimes teams just play out the string or are resting guys at this time of year. We're going to have something to chase.

I was happy to be in the NFL, living the dream. I'd get to play in the preseason when Brett would play a series or two and I got to play a quarter and a half and my whole family would come to town for the game. They never wanted tickets for the playoff games or the regular-season games, just the preseason games.
