When I really thought we had a shot was after their turnover where we knock it in. Then they come right back and answer, like good football teams do.

I like his size and the way he runs the football. I thought he did a nice job of catching the football and I thought he was good in blitz pickup, recognizing people coming. Before he went to Miami, I thought he was a heck of a running back and he was in a numbers situation down there and his number was out. He is a good football player.

I thought I had some good looks, especially in the first half. Then down the stretch I had some shots that might not look good but if I'm in rhythm I feel like I can knock the shot down.

We're looking at another really good football team this week in Denver. They're probably one of the hotter teams in the league right now. They're playing very well in all three phases of the game. They've been a good team to watch just because they're executing so well. They haven't had a turnover in three games.

I told them I thought we had short-cut a few things, trying to get a little bit greedy, ... It ended up being turnover, tough shot, off-balance shot. All of the sudden it's a 6-, 7-0 run. ... We got a little impatient.

This weekend is crucial in at least getting to share that final playoff shot. We've got to knock off these two teams to confidently say we might have a shot.

The thing that was most impressive to me is we didn't foul on the last shot. And I've seen teams lose games because they're undisciplined and they foul. He took a tough shot. I thought he traveled before he shot. Our team did the five-switch defense on their own, which was good for them to be able to do, considering up until that point we hadn't really made too many good decisions.

I haven't seen a line like that in a long time, with five assists and one turnover. I thought he did a good job. I thought he did an extremely credible job defensively. Derrick Low is a very good player, and he went after Brett. He got some buckets on him, but he was poised in terms of doing his job of running the team and getting back defending.

I thought (Bethune) got a lot of good looks down the stretch that they usually knock down, that I've seen them knock down over and over again. It doesn't look good. He's already missed eight or nine days. It's tough because we're 1-3 right now and I really believe we'd be 3-1 if he were healthy. I think we would have beaten St. John's and we had a good shot at beating Pittsburgh if he was healthy. But injuries are part of the game and he's not there. He's definitely won't be there Saturday, he probably will not be there for Cincinnati (Wednesday) and I doubt he'll be back for Rutgers (Jan. 28) and Villanova (Jan. 30). If he came back too soon it could knock him out for the season.

It would be different if I was stepping into a place where they'd been terrible on defense and had a whole bunch of turnover within the staff. But the three coaches back are good football coaches and nucleus of our defense is back. I'm just going to go out there and try not to mess it up too bad.
