We had 17 games and we gave up 15 goals. It was one of our best defensive efforts in probably five or six years and Sherry was a key.

We just had some bad defensive mistakes and were caught flat a few times and gave up a few goals. I thought we actually played better throughout the game and dominated parts of it but we can't give up bad goals and win and not score.

When Sherry is out at practice, it's similar to Liz. Sherry is out to get better and work she's a great leader who really recognizes and leads from the back. She's just a quality individual.

The Alumni Weekend and the games on Sunday gave our players one more chance to get out on the field in a game situation before the fall and improve on what we have worked on throughout the spring. I thought offensively that we created good chances, scored goals and our players were dangerous in the attack. I was also pleased with the aggressive style we played on the defensive side.

Robby is one of the best defensive forwards in the league. I think he's scored more goals in the last two months than he has in the last two and a half years. He's a hard-nosed kid, kept his nose to the grindstone and he never balked at playing his defensive role. It's good to see him get rewarded as a senior.

In our last couple of games, we've just been a bit sloppier than what our game is and we've given up way too many goals. There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

Sherry has come on since her injury. The last couple of games she has started to play more like herself again.

I've played with him for eight years and a bit, and he helped me win a lot of hockey games with game-winning goals. Playing with him for that long and getting to see lots of his goals was a real pleasure.

Although his six goals on Tuesday were great individual efforts, I thought his six goals today were great team efforts.
