We just put (the first meeting) behind us. We are a completely different team than we were then. We've developed chemistry and character through hard work.

Any player you bring in, you have to be concerned about team chemistry. It's not necessarily the guy may or may not be a bad apple. It's just in terms of demeanor and work ethic. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. We have very good team chemistry. This team has been together for a while and has developed a certain camaraderie. You don't want to disrupt that.

When I was playing we had chemistry but when I was gone we developed better chemistry. We stepped up as a team tonight.

Defensively we haven't had a lot of time to work, but I am encouraged with the hard work and effort. When we work on defensive skills, they have worked hard. We have better team chemistry; they all get along. Last year it was an individual thing.

I think it's a compliment to the talent that's on our team, ... I don't think talent in and of itself is the reason why you win championships. I don't think that that will determine where we finish. It will be a character and style and chemistry that's developed through a season at LSU that will determine where we finish.

I think this team can be as good as it was last year. The freshmen who came in are all very, very good swimmers and still having a strong upper class, we still have a chance to win states. Branford loses a lot. Wilton will be competition and Darien moves into our class. It will depend on how hard they work. This is the best team we have had in my four years here. They are working hard and have team chemistry. If they keep winning hard they can win states.

One of our primary goals this spring was to allow this team to form their own chemistry. Hard work and fun are important parts of the equation. We worked hard on and off the field with an emphasis on enjoying each other.

We believe there's a difference in this team than in the past because of the way we work. We have a lot of team chemistry and it shows in the way we practice and play. Also, we're fighting hard to get the respect we deserve because we feel we've been under the radar for years.

We knew coming into this season that every game would be hard-fought in this league. We just meshed as a team as the season went along, and we had good chemistry. All our hard work paid off.

I've enjoyed seeing the program grow. It has taken a lot of hard work, but now more people want to play. Our team has a lot of chemistry and that really helps us be successful.

The most important thing for Downingtown West is team chemistry. (Smith) likes to work us hard and have fun at the same time.

I wish we really knew (what's going on). With everybody on this team coming back at different times, our chemistry hasn't been completely there all year. Nobody has been on the floor at the same time. Everybody is trying to work back into playing together with everybody's style. It hasn't clicked for us.

Mike is a tenacious competitor. He has a field general personality and truly understands the importance of hard work and team chemistry.

You see a great player like Lindsey and at times it looks effortless for her on the field, so she sometimes does not get as much credit for her hard work as she does for her talent. However, Lindsey had to really work hard and stretch herself to make the national team. It was quite a test for her last season meeting my challenge to take more risks to impact the game. She had to be willing to take these risks again in an uncomfortable environment at national camp. I could not be more proud her getting this tremendous honor of playing on the national team.

I'm just so proud of us, the chemistry that we have. To beat Duke, they're a great team. And that just shows a lot about our team, and what kind of character we have. It feels good, but now it's over. Now it's another task at hand.
