They know that if they pay income tax, they pay capital gains tax, they pay sales tax, that it's absolutely, fundamentally, inherently wrong to make death another taxable event.

en Republicans and Democrats can agree that the time has come to bury the death tax deep in the ground where it belongs. The death tax is fundamentally unfair, it undermines the economy and it produces virtually no revenue after all is said and done. Americans know in their hearts that death should not be a taxable event and they look now to their senators in Washington to do what is right when this vote comes up in May.
