en It's the first time I've played Andy but I'm not going to approach it any differently,

en We're going to approach him the way we always have and just take for granted that he's going to be swinging the way he usually swings. I mean this guy's one of the greatest hitters of all time, so we're not going to treat him any differently. We'll try to approach him the same way we have in the past and that's to make quality pitches and hopefully not make a mistake.

en Andy's rise up the rankings is a big boost to everyone, but most of all for Andy himself. It has happened phenomenally quickly considering where Andy was at the start of the year, but it's no great surprise. The signs were always there that Andy would become a top-class player. He is not going to rest now. He will keep going for it.

en We are not going to approach this game any differently than any other game that we have played. But, obviously, we [will face] some prolific scorers, and we are going to have to be very aware of that.

en If we didn't have a third baseman, Andy could play in the major leagues right now. Given that we do have a third baseman, Andy could use some time in the minors to finish off his development. Defensively, he's major-league ready right now. Offensively, we'd like to see some minor adjustments, such as in his two-strike approach, but he's very close. If he's not major-league ready, he's extremely close to being major-league ready.

en I think it was too much for me, ... I played great against Andy. Today I played worse, but it wasn't the tennis. I think it was something in the head. Yesterday, I didn't have so much time to rest, and I got so many phone calls. I think I have to learn how to deal with these things.

Unfortunately for us, he came back on Friday and Sunday. He played his best tennis I think today, for a long time. I don't know what he said. But I think he played a very good match.

en Obviously we understand the situation, but we have a healthy Andy. Andy wasn't healthy last time he pitched. He didn't let on to anybody, but his leg was killing him.

en He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. Andy is not playing his best tennis. Fernando has improved very much. I think he played his best match of the year (on Friday). I think the tie is still open. If Fernando plays his best tennis and Andy makes some mistakes, doesn't hit the ball well … Fernando can do some damage.
