en We knew coming in tonight we had to really be composed and poised. We just had to keep our heads about us, and I thought we executed well enough to do that.

en They were just fed up with playing so many close games against (the Spurs) and not winning. A lot of times San Antonio plays with such quickness and penetration that you don't get a physical presence, but I thought tonight we had that physical presence.

en We knew we would be undersized tonight. We thought we could disrupt their offense if we could force the tempo and get some turnovers. The ladies executed tremendously.

en That was a big play. I was pretty pleased with how the guys executed down the stretch tonight. It's good for us to win a game like this, because we're going to play some close games from here on out.

en About three of the kicks tonight, when I hit them I thought they were good. I got a little unlucky and they went right or left. The last one tonight, I thought I hit it pretty good and when I looked up I knew I was probably going to need a little bit of luck right there.

en We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.

en We thought we were pretty good defensively, for the most part, against one of the tougher teams in the Western Conference. We knew we had to be physical.

Having three of four guys from the American record 800 free relay is a pretty solid relay, so we thought we could take a crack at (the U.S. Open record) tonight. We're all a little tired, but that's fifth-fastest American relay ever, so it's not a bad time. We ended tonight on a great note.

en I thought we played very well tonight, and the key thing is that we battled. I don't think we could ask anymore of them (players) tonight; it could have gone either way. en I was just trying to make sure Andruw and I weren't going to dive into each other, because I knew he was going to be pretty close, too, ... I felt like I had a pretty good bead on it. I just thought I could make up for losing that one in the lights the inning before.
