It's a good feeling to be at home and it's a good feeling to get a win. Four to six weeks ago, we probably wouldn't have won this game, but we're coming together as a team. It was better for us to battle back and win this game than to win by 12 to 15 points.

Not only are they so good talent-wise, they're so good in every phase of the game. You come in here and play them, you know they're not going to beat themselves. Alivia (Mazura) had another great game. Dania had a very good game. Gidget ( Liz Eisenberg ) caused them some problems obviously.

We really had one type of game last year. With Kurt Thomas coming in, we think now we could play a lot of different ways and not lose the speed we wanted, too. The plan is to put the best five players on the floor regardless of their positions.

We've got a lot of guys fighting for positions and backup positions. That's what preseason is all about. To see how they operate in game situations and hopefully they play well.

Coming into the game, we knew they would put up numbers . Looking back on it, they were better than anybody else we played. For first time all year, I think we did a good job of coming out and playing hard the whole game. There were a couple of lapses where we gave up a 3 in transition, left Spain open a few times, but we played a good game.

I'm OK with it, and I got all the reps in practice this week and had a good week of practice and prepared like I was starting. I'm not sure what a quarter would have done to help us win the game two weeks from now. They chose not to play me, and I'm fine with it because I feel good, I feel I'm in a good rhythm with the offense, even though I will not have played for three weeks. I didn't play for a year and a half.
