He had a good day at the plate as far as his overall rhythm and seeing the ball. He's got good speed and can do a lot of different things when he gets on to create havoc for the defense.

Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you. We were out of rhythm so we have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball, a lot of work to do.

Playing a team of UCLA's quality was great for us. We played some good soccer. We moved the ball really well, especially in the second half. Even in some tight spaces, we were able to create some rhythm and be threatening in the attack. They forced us to be alert on defense and to make some quick decisions. We gave up some soft chances and it cost us. But we found some things we can go back and work on.

They (Rockets) touch the ball pretty well. They have good speed, they have good players and they play good defense. They're a good team overall.

When he came into the ballgame, he did a great job in our defense in the press. He may not have gotten the steal, but he caused enough havoc to create the loose ball and force them to turn it over.

The key for us is to play good defense. When we do that, everything else takes care of itself. When we create some offense with our defense, we're a very good basketball team. We made them turn the ball over a lot and take some bad shots.

We played solid defense and we mixed it up, going from man to zone and back. We ran the floor well and executed our offense. We had Lincoln a little confused and out of their rhythm and they committed some turnovers. We were able to do some good things with the ball.

He comes in where he's got to be beat out for the fourth spot in the outfield. He has some speed and defense, and a pretty good approach to the plate.

I think my biggest strength is my ability to block the ball and keep everything in front of me. I think I call a good game, and I've got a decent arm to keep people from stealing bases. Defensively, I feel confident that we can do some things to create some problems for them. The key thing for us is that we take shots when we're in a rhythm, because when we pass the ball to the open man and stay in a rhythm, we've got a lot of guys who can make shots from both the inside and outside.

He's a tough little hitter. He's got great speed. He makes good contact. Watching him on the defensive side, watching him go get the ball, he's pretty awesome. He's got good speed there. He's got very good reactions to the ball.
