The last two weeks ordsprog
The last two weeks, we really worked on getting mentally ready to go out and wrestle. He had one thing in mind, and that was winning a gold medal. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him.
Tim Cunningham
I can tell you that when we take the ice, our goal will not be to do well in this tournament. We will as a group be focused on one thing and one thing only, and that's winning a gold medal.
Peter Laviolette
It wasn't about the Stanley Cup the year before, it was all about the gold medal. That's been the talk the last three years, and now this year. When you go home in the summers, the gold medal is remembered more. The difference now is defending the gold medal.
Rob Blake
Winning the gold medal at the World Juniors was an unbelievable experience. We had great leadership, we performed well and came home with the gold. It was awesome.
Al Montoya
It was so close to the gold medal. I don't feel I lost a gold medal. To me, I won a bronze medal.
Anni Friesinger
I'm going to be ready for Sunday without a doubt. I knew that in my mind a couple of weeks ago. But I guess it probably erases more doubt in other people's mind that I'm going to be ready to go, because I went out there and did the whole thing.
Jeremy Newberry
I have more fun watching him wrestle than anyone else on our team. He's so aggressive, he's go-go-go for six minutes. He's constantly in the guy's face, attacking. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't come home with a gold medal this weekend.
Mike Newton
It ranks right up there with winning the gold medal,

When I went with the U.S. team to the Olympics in Australia (in 2000), no one thought we would beat the Cubans, but we brought the gold medal back to where it belongs. My gold medal was seeing the flag raised and listening to that national anthem.

He's got to get his mind mentally ready to play Kansas City. We know one thing: When he is healthy, we win games.
Herman Edwards
I'm much more proud of that work than winning a gold medal in the Olympics.
Joey Cheek
The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.
Lascelles Brown
I'm going to be donating the total sum that the USOC is giving me for winning a gold medal, which I believe is about $25,000.
Joey Cheek
I think about winning the Olympic gold medal a couple of times every day. Oh, it would be so nice to take one of those home.
Sasha Cohen
Knowing that I've already got one gold medal at home helps a bit with the entire situation. Skiing isn't everything in the world and a gold medal isn't everything in the world. And I'm not badly off. In fact, I'm quite happy.
