Overall our kids battled tonight, and I'm really proud of them. Defensively we did well, but we gave up a few big plays.

I am proud of the kids' commitment. They have stayed together and battled. This was a big win tonight for our confidence.

We left way too many people on and we gave up one big inning. We had the opportunity to get runs in every inning. But I am proud of the way the kids battled back after getting down.

Tonight we played the team that won the NCC. That is a good team. But we battled them down two starters. I am very proud of my kids.

I thought Matt gave us a huge lift off the bench. It is great to have that type of effort off the bench. That is extremely important to the team. The kids battled tonight.

Our kids never gave up and that's a good sign of character. After the game I heard some people from Frenchtown say that we have a feisty team. The kids buckled down and played better defensively. Fortunately, our kids hung around and battled.

We stopped being aggressive in the fourth quarter and got careless with the ball. But I'm super proud of what the kids did tonight. They gave it everything they had.

We won three quarters but came up short on the scoreboard again. I was proud of the effort our kids gave tonight, and hopefully we can come back Friday and get a win to get things started again.
