That's what we want to do. You can't slip up in tournament time. So we came out really focused, jumped on them early and got that big lead. I thought the girls played hard even though we were up by 20 or so. They still had the intensity and that's what I liked about it.

I was pleased that we came out ready to play. We played well together and played with a lot of intensity. We pressured them really hard early and got some turnovers to get that good lead at the beginning of the game.

They jumped on us early and we never really recovered. Our shots didn't fall for us early on. That big lead was hard to overcome.

Tonight our defense was just fantastic. The girls did everything we asked them to and they just worked really hard. The last time we played Knoxville, they scored something like 62 points on us, but tonight - due to the intensity the girls showed - we were able to shut down everything they tried to do. We started off pretty hot. I think that might have been the best 10 minutes of shooting I've ever seen. It was like we just couldn't miss. I thought we came out with a lot of intensity and really jumped on them early.

Any time you get a chance to win a series, that's what it's all about. We had a chance to sweep them here but they played well, they came back and jumped on us early and got some runs off Lohse in the first four innings and then held a lead.

When you play Harrison and they get an early lead, it is hard to come back. I thought we played well. We just came up short.

I thought we played very well the first half. They had a hard time dealing with our 1-3-1. The second half, we played hard, but lacked intensity and shot the ball poorly.

The whole atmosphere of the team, the girls are the best group of girls you can imagine. The fans, the beaches, it's just the whole package. [Going out with a win] means a lot. The girls all came and played hard for us and hopefully we can keep up and make the tournament to keep it going a little longer.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

The girls played well; I thought we were in control of the game, but then we let it slip one end with some misses.

I'm definitely proud of how the girls came out and played with intensity and heart. This after a 27-point defeat the last time we played them. I knew we could compete, but they had to come out and play with intensity. They showed that they could play with the top team in the league.

We played hard early and, unfortunately, looked at the scoreboard and our intensity fell off. When you're only playing seven guys, sometimes you try to conserve energy, and that's my fault. I thought they definitely outplayed us as far as effort in the last 20 minutes.

They jumped out to an early lead and played very aggressive defense. They created a lot of turnovers and we couldn't recover.

I think that we probably had our best first period. We've had so many ifs and buts in this tournament and we have not had strong starts, so today we focused on trying to get an early lead.
