The exterior of the building is so remarkable and so unique, with its Normandy inspiration. I mean, it's a landmark; it's truly a landmark, and it was designed by one of America's greatest architects. But there's little point in saving a building just to save a building. Buildings are to be used. It doesn't have to have the original use; it just needs to be used.

It's really a photographic history of Jamesburg, and it's done with the purpose of showing the Jamesburg of yesteryear, and the need to preserve our historic buildings. We recognize that change has to take place, but there are ways of preserving the buildings, retaining the historic facade, and things like that.

I didn't watch much TV as a kid and I don' t watch it now . I don' t find anything beautiful or unique to the medium, and the only thing you can do on TV that you can't do in film is make a continuing story - which is so cool!

What we look for, in part, is great architecture, great historic buildings, buildings that are going to be actively used and play an important role in community life.
