I'm very disappointed. I'm hoping we didn't peak too early. I guess we'll find out in the league meet.

It can take time to find out. We're starting to feel what we're capable of doing. Sometimes teams peak too early. I'm hoping we'll peak at the right time.

We didn't find out until December, and the students were preparing for the Christmas program then. When they came back from vacation, the kids really worked hard and focused. They did a nice job. They have a big performance contest in April, and not much time to prepare for it. This caused them to have to peak early, and they will have to peak again, but they were up to the challenge. They did very well.

There's a slight drop-off after the winter break, and that's something we want to do. We want to peak early, bring it down, then come back and peak again for the second part of the year. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. The guys are ready to start building their peak and that's right where we need them to be.

I thought that all year we didn't want to peak too early. I think that's been our problem in the past, that we've peaked too early and then relaxed.

With our top eight runners returning and the addition of two of the areas top eighth graders from last year, we are hoping for a very good year. We will find our how good very early when we go to Fountain Central in our first regular meet.

I'm very disappointed. I've spoken to the league, and I can't get into details on what was said. I can't even find the words. I've appealed to the league about their judgment. I've seen a whole lot worse.

As good as the league is, I'm disappointed that we didn't finish higher. I'm disappointed, but I understand how good the league is.

There's no question every team in the league wants to be like the Pistons. They are playing at an all-time high and they're playing for a purpose. We didn't meet the challenge in the second, third and fourth quarters and that kind of disappointed me. I don't like to coach games like this where we don't give ourselves a chance to win.

It's okay that the others are ahead of me here. It doesn't worry me. I really didn't try in this Vuelta. I only came to the Vuelta to recuperate my fitness and I leave here at about 80 percent fitness. If I was here at top fitness I might not have reached the peak at the world's. At Madrid, I want to be 110 percent fitness and I didn't want to peak too early.

I'm hoping Mario will qualify at the league meet.

Without the meet being limited entries, second place in the league is pretty good. It's what we could've expected. Really we thought outright second in the league was where we would end up because we did not anticipate losing to Brandon. We didn't swim like we were supposed to that day but we felt pretty good about coming out front in the Metro Meet.

We didn't get here by accident. We played a lot of kids early and we weren't afraid to lose some (non-league) games to find out what we've got in the long run because you want to know when you get to the end. We've been playing well the last third of the season, and we're not going to experiment anymore.

I guess I was pretty surprised by it. The league made a decision, I guess, based on the information that we all had, but they didn't see fit to suspend Reggie. Personally, I thought he would be suspended.

I'm thinking for some reason the SWC meet seems to be very important to a lot of people. It should be; you want to win the conference. But before, people tended to peak too early.
