 This is one of those golf courses that suits my eye I guess you could say. I'm hitting the ball as good as I've hit it in awhile. I'm hitting my irons shots as good as ever and today something clicked with the putter. |

| On 17 we both hit the wrong clubs, eight-irons instead of nine-irons. I didn't have much of a shot and it was a bad lie in a hard pan. It was a question of landing the ball in the right spot and it was a bit of a shock when it went in. But then it was a great up-and-down by Ernie as well. |

| This course is set up for my game. I feel very good on this course. I'm a very good lag putter and you have to do that here. My eye catches the slopes pretty well. That just comes from doing it for (so many) years. ... Around the greens, even though I'm not an incredibly good putter, I feel pretty safe. |

| He takes a lot of hits, but he's a true great player. Very unselfish but can still put his numbers up and still take over a game. He's doing great. |
| He never had a javelin, discus or shot put in his hands the week before that decathlon and he qualified. He had great hurdles, a great 400, great 1500 -- stuff where he's good. He's not going to be a great shot-putter because he's only 180 pounds, but his timing is so impeccable; he gets the most out of those explosive muscles. |
