It's prohibitively expensive to deliver high-quality music over wireless Internet streaming. That's where the benefit of satellite radio comes in.
Aram Sinnreich
This is a real-life example of some of the problems with the Medicare Part D system. This shows how the program doesn't do enough to bring down the cost of drugs, which too often are prohibitively expensive.

It's not just Catholic versus Protestant any more. I read somewhere that in any construction site in Belfast, they have protection rackets. And you have to clear your trucking with the IRA, just like the Mafia here.

I think it is great news that the site that was selected -- which is in a floodplain, is the most expensive site by probably $100 million, will likely run deficits every year, has very inconvenient parking, extremely difficult ingress and egress and won't be available to build on for two-plus years, adding millions more to the cost -- has EPA issues that are not substantial.

In many areas of the world, the rapid growth of voice and data communications usage has outpaced the deployment of network infrastructures. You must remember to compare benefits versus costs. For the foreseeable future, the only affordable alternatives are coal, natural gas, oil or nuclear. Renewable sources - solar, wind, etc. - so favored by the left remain prohibitively expensive. A nation becomes weaker, not stronger, by artificially overspending on costly, inefficient alternatives to fossil fuels.

Trucking is incongruous with what we've come to expect with the blue-collar economy these days. Productivity improvements mean that other industries are scaling down whereas it still takes one driver per truck to move goods, and there is little way around that. What's more, other industries can outsource, but trucking can't.
