We miss Ashley really ordsprog

We miss Ashley really badly... we know what he can add to the team when he comes back.

My reaction to Ashley right now is that he's under contract and we fully expect Ashley to be back.

We have to rectify so many things on offense. We're a high-turnover team now, which is No. 1. Secondly, we're a very poor shooting team from all areas, from 2-point range, 3-point range and the free-throw line. We shoot more air balls now on the perimeter than any team ? I've never seen any NBA team miss as badly as we do.

It is unfortunate for Ashley's situation, and we are really hurting for Ashley like everyone else will be. I could have taken a gamble on Ashley Cole but he only had one training session with the team. Last time I rushed him back and he had a set-back, he wasn't ready.

It's not very typical of him to miss as badly as he missed. That was an indication that he was feeling it tonight. But he shut them down pretty good and came back and threw well.

Ashley did a great job today. She kept the ball where it had to be. Ashley didn't get down on herself, she just played. She did a good job and got a lot of support from the people behind her. Another thing is Ashley didn't get mad at me.

They miss the aura of him. He is a protector for the other guys in the team. I think they are missing this, it is a big part. You always miss players (like that) when they leave. You cannot count how much they miss this personality in the team.

Missouri Southern is a good fit for Ashley. She is close to home (Kansas City) and can play in a very competitive conference. Ashley has grown tremendously this year as a player and also as a person. Ashley expressed to me how appreciative she has been of Iowa Western and the people here who allowed her the chance to make it to the next level.

It's like when you graduate high school and go off in the world. You miss your family, but you know it's time to go off and try new things. But it's really a bittersweet thing. When we left home, we made sure it was on good terms - so it would be a place we could go back to, should the journey end badly.

Ashley just kept getting better and better last season. That's something you hope for from all incoming players. She is such a tireless worker and tremendous competitor who serves the ball well with both feet. Ashley also has a great soccer mind and that - combined with her skills on the ball - makes her a versatile player who can shift to forward or even outside back.

That bomb they hit may have hurt them more than it helped them. Ashley just takes things like that personally. When she gave up the home run, you just knew she was going to come back and do whatever she could to help the team.

The holes are crazy over here. I don't have to worry about trying to juke out the whole team, make this man miss, make that man miss. I meet up with a linebacker or a defensive back, and I just take care of business. I've just got to do my part.

I think we played well as a team. Our keeper (Ashley White) made some great saves; our defense did well and our outside did well. Soccer is a team game. We win as a team; we lose as a team.

It was a team effort on defense. Everybody did their part. When I was late (getting over), Flo (Williams) or Ashley (Thomas) had my back. You can give us an A+ to play defense like that.
