You can't just focus ordsprog

You can't just focus on one person with this defensive line. You're going to have to contend with all of us and game plan for everybody. And you don't have enough people on the field to block everybody.

You have to give Jake credit. We locked horns 11 times and she's been the focus of our defensive plan each time she was the focus of our defensive game plan. Today, we ran an inverted diamond-and-two and it worked pretty well. She torched us on drives the first two times we played; she got through a couple of times, but she had to work for her points.

You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions. You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison.

She brings a lot of versatility. Down on the block she has her post moves but she can also step out and take people to the free throw line with her 15-foot jumper. We haven't drawn up the game plan yet. First, though, we're going to try to limit her touches. We don't want her to get the ball.

I got attracted to coaching because I love helping people figure out who they are as a person. Many people are working in a field that is totally out of line for who they are as a person.

We are all going to walk across a pit of coals and someone will teach us how to do it. I hope they will because I can't even walk on hot sand. It's all about training you to be a better person. Mastering your mind and focusing on the right things are important skills to have. There are millions of people who can kick a ball around but only a few can do it under pressure. You have to block out everything and focus on the game.

We have to make sure we keep people in line. Sometimes underclassmen goof off and we have to do everything as hard as we can to show the underclassmen that they have to work as hard as we do. We just take everything one game at a time and take practices serious and try to focus on our game plan.

As professional golfers, we like to pride ourselves on the ability to block out things and focus in only on the shot at hand and only on the round. You're talking about not just the best player in the game, but the best at being able to do that, to block everything out. I don't think that it will be a factor in Tiger's game at all.

Robert Sterling

(Indiana) likes to stretch you across the field with that offense. It was a great defensive game plan by coach (Matt) Smith.

People with this disability find it very hard to block out competing noises. For example, if a person with this disability was having a conversation with another person, and a fan was blowing in the room, the person with the disability might not be able to block out the fan and lose the conversation. A noisy class environment could make it tough.

Dr. Larry Gillam

Were excited to have Earl join our staff. He comes to LSU highly recommended. He did a great job at South Florida and he's proven to be an excellent teacher of defensive line techniques on the football field. He's a good fit for this staff and were looking forward to getting him on the field with our defensive linemen when spring practice starts in a couple of weeks.

I thought we played a good defensive game. We struggled offensively though both from the field and the free throw line.
