I'm proud of Andrew. In front of all those fans, he was very mature. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. There are a lot of kids who would have chucked it in after that first quarter, and he'd get right back out there and went at it. A quality kid.

At this point, boring makes for an interesting fourth quarter. I think this year's losers win. The stuff that people chucked from their portfolios is what they will want back.

I really liked how we started the fourth quarter. Things were not going our way to end the third quarter. We were not getting all the calls. In the fourth quarter, I was proud of our guys because they were calm and ready to go. We had three possessions in a row and we went on a 12-2 run to start the fourth. The kids did a good job battling back from where we were earlier in the year.

We've got some question marks with regards to pitching. (But) we're a lot more than just (Clark). We're got some quality kids around Andrew.

I'm proud of the kids. They played with a sense of desperation in the fourth quarter and nearly came back.

As far as I am concerned Andrew Johnson is and will be a Crystal Palace player. We want to get him back in the Premiership where he deserves to play. If at any stage Andrew comes to me and tells me something different, then that is different. But I have only heard positive things from Andrew.

We have never been 5-0. One thing I can say about this team is we have been in some close games, but find a way to win. I am real proud of the kids tonight because we played without (senior running back Nate) Robinson for most of the fourth quarter. A lot of our offense centers around him, but the kids stepped up.

Our fans come from a wide age group. At our shows, the kids are down in the front and the bald guys are in the back. They're all interested and curious.

I don't want to just have Andrew in a backup role. Andrew may be our most talented back. I know he's our fastest back and he's our biggest back, other than Tyrone.

First, let me thank all the Texas fans and let's congratulate a great USC team. Second, we want to thank the Rose Bowl. I'm proud of these kids, I'm proud of these coaches.

A lot of kids don't understand what they are getting into. It's strictly business on the college level. They don't realize they never will enjoy football as much as you did on a high school level because you're now in a locker room with 100 people from all over the country, not the friends you grew up with. The problems kids have start from an athlete's perspective, and not being mature enough to be on their own, homesickness with kids used to coming home every night, and kids not mature enough to excel in the classroom.

When you're playing in front of the community that supports you, you have a responsibility to give back. Whether it's conducting clinics, visiting kids or making appearances, it's very important to stay involved with the fans.

Our fans are loyal and travel well. We put forth the effort on the floor, that's all it has taken to get them back. I have heard it from many people, this community is proud of the effort that these kids put forth.

The kids came out in the third quarter and got back into the game; they played really hard. But those two kids from Living Word did a good job in the fourth quarter.

Jimmy came back for all the right reasons. He wanted to mature and grow as a person and mature and grow as a player. He wanted to be a leader, and he did all those things. Obviously, he's been rewarded for those things, too. I'm as proud of him as anybody I've ever been around, just what he's all about and how he's matured.
