en Those two guys that they added, Earl Watson and Chris Wilcox , have made a big difference. I sense they're playing with a lot of freedom.

en If you want to play really good defense, you have to have some defensive-minded guys. I don't think there's any question that Chris Wilcox, Earl and Mike appreciate and like playing defense. When you get guys like that, normally your defense will get better.

en The Clippers went down to Chris Kaman and Chris Wilcox coming off the bench. We worked really hard to minimize Elton Brand 's touches but they went to Wilcox and Kaman and they produced.

en Phil might seem like he's laid-back, but he's incredibly competitive, and he enjoys being around Chris, ... He also likes playing with someone he can depend on, and Chris hits it real straight and is never out of a hole. Also, some guys are not real rah-rah guys, but Chris is very passionate. He's the ultimate teammate. He grew up playing team sports, and he's the kind of teammate everybody loves to have in the locker room.

en I'd love it if we can get him and [Chris] Wilcox and Ray [Allen] playing to their potential in one game. That would be really fun. But he [Lewis] needs to play a good game. He needs to finish the season strong.

en Watson gives the squad added flexibility. We can choose to play two spinners if the pitch looks like it will offer them something, or we can play four bowlers with Watson providing a fifth option.

en I thought coach made a good decision by putting Earl in. Earl is fast and there was no way they were putting a (power forward) on Earl.

en There was no way I could have taken the final shot tonight. They had three people right there, and Earl Watson was wide open.

en Both of those guys are good in the post. They really set the tone for us inside. Wilcox has been playing more outside because he has extended his range.

en Chris Kaman has been his pupil. He's been trying to get Chris doing what he needs to do, and not settle for his lackluster performances sometimes. I think Coach has really been pushing him to be a better player. He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. Now Chris is playing better, he's getting more confident, and our team is playing a lot better when he plays well. So it's great to see that.

en I have been blessed to have two great ones. Brian jumped right up there and was able to make a difference. Chris and Brian could play comparably. The only difference was Chris was a junior and Brian was a freshman. Now the difference is that I don't have another kid at that level.

en Chris is very capable of taking our troops, as all our guys are. Chris is our veteran. He's been around certain situations a while, so he understands about guys getting hurt and how to help other players. (Sunday) night was a perfect example of Chris leading us.

en I like to describe it as business decisions that made a lot of sense individually added up to make some not-so-good sense collectively.

en It's done. Our days are over and we've got to pass the torch on to somebody. We pass it on to Dallas Baker and Brandon Siler or Earl (Everett), Marcus Thomas, Chris (Leak) and all those guys. It's that time. I feel like we're giving it to good hands.

en Earl Watson's going to have a great career. He's going to have some great games and he's probably going to beat the Denver Nuggets somewhere along the way. Hopefully, it's not (tonight).
