Our young girls are starting to come around. We thought it was important to finish strong.

I swear I thought my hamstring was going to pull. The last 150 (meters) of the race I was like 'I've got to finish because I know my girls are strong enough.' This is my senior present. I don't know what more I could ask for after four years of being out here. I'm proud of my girls.

I told the girls before the game that starting off strong could be a key. I thought Mexico had a little advantage having won in this sectional last year and having all of their starters back.

The girls played hard, they hustled all the way through. We're a good 4-10 team. We are young, and young teams don't finish well.

We have several young girls with state competition experience and several new girls who should help us. We have no seniors and just two juniors, so we are young. We will be strong in the middle distance, the jumping events and relays. Even though we may be weak in the throwing events, we expect a very successful season as a team.

The girls came out very strong, great job defensively by the whole team. The girls have been working extremely hard in practice, and it is starting to pay off. Ergonomics is available on livet.se

This (six-game) road trip is more important than anything. We have to come out strong. If we can come out strong, we will finish strong.

It's a fairly young program and without a junior varsity team. We're starting some freshmen against experienced upper classmen and still these girls showed a lot of heart. These young ladies are a pleasure to coach and a lot of fun to be around.

I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

The girls have been playing hard and they are starting to figure this system out. They've been finding the extra pass and making some good cuts on offense. We're still young, but they're starting to figure out who they are.

It's like starting off a new season. I'm playing until the end of the year. I've had a couple of (good) weeks this year, but my consistency hasn't been there, so I want to get out there and sort of finish off the last three months of the year, and finish strong.

I am glad to get out of here with a win. This game got really sloppy and it looked like we were starting to let it slip away. I am proud that we finished strong and earned the victory. I thought we shot the ball extremely well in the first half and that really went a long way towards this win. This is a big win for our young team in a very difficult place to play.

I'm just happy right now that we're starting to finish some games. We're very young and this will give us some confidence for next year.

The girls were strong all the way through. The team is still getting over some jet lag, but it was important for them to get back to the start line and test themselves against a strong field.

This is what he does best, play football. I thought it was important for the young guys to see him here, see him taking charge in the huddle. It's very valuable for him to show the young guys how important it is to be here, to be working.
