en It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson. We played our entire roster against their first string, ... The good thing about that is everyone saw some varsity time. But we were put in a position where we didn't have a lot of choice.

en Winning is always good to start off the conference. We played everyone on the entire roster and that is big when everyone can contribute.

en There will an interactive kiosk where you'll be able to enter the name of anyone who played on a varsity roster, and it'll call up the sport, when they played and whatever statistics are available.

en Our varsity roster is pretty evenly split between juniors and seniors, which is a good thing, we won't be so lopsided with only seniors.

en I just tried to regroup. The only thing I could do was put pressure on him and the only way to do that was to just keep hitting good golf shots. I was able to put together a string right in a row there that really put me in good position to win.

en The kids played really well. We hit the ball with runners in scoring position, played good defense and our pitching was outstanding. Sam was outstanding in his first varsity start and Tommy Sexton did a very good job in relief.

en There was one thing Beethoven didn't do. When one of his string quartets was played, you can believe the second violin wasn't improvising.

en Morgan is playing really good. He's 3-3 at singles (before last Tuesday) after not playing last year. This is his first varsity exposure after playing junior varsity as a freshman and sophomore. He's pretty good for not having played many varsity tennis matches.

en We played a good game. We had some kids who didn't have varsity experience who played well.

en I was concerned when they lost the first set 6-0. I thought poor Amanda, out there for the first time, Miriam's first time on varsity and the first time they played together. But (in the second set) they got going. They started to get a little confident and determined and did their thing.

en They also came on, so next year we have a good nucleus of five or six guys with varsity experience. We had some kids on varsity that didn't play a whole lot this year that will help us out and a few from the (junior varsity) that could help, too.

en I felt good. He fought a good fight and I can't take anything anyway from him. He never said a bad thing about me the entire time, but he didn't knock me out, though. I'll have to be honest. I thought I was going to come in here and knock him out because I didn't think he could handle the pressure. I have to tip my hat off to him because he could handle it.

en We didn't even look at their roster. We knew if you played for UNH, you had to be a good hockey player.

en We were on two different middle school teams, so we were both the point guard. ... It was kind of hard when we both came out together (for varsity) and played the same position. With me and her, it's been a battle for the position, but also trying to keep that friendship.

en It's very important to work hard during this time to build a very good roster from top to bottom. We have a big group of players in. There are some that we will quickly let go and we will bring others in and try to use this time to look at different possibilities for how to improve our roster.
