I just love having her come off my bench. Not too many people expect that a girl who hasn't touched the ball since warm-ups is going to drain one. She's clutch, and she wants the ball in her hands.

I was on top of the route and I made a very bad decision to go for the interception. That's just my mindset. Any time the ball is in the air I'm going to try to go for the ball. I think I touched the ball or touched his hand, one of the two. I know I was close to the ball, and I just ended up missing it.

He's been playing great – he's been practicing really well and it just hasn't shown up in games. He hasn't had as many opportunities as we would like him to have. Maybe just a little bit (tonight) we tried to create some opportunities where we can just get the ball in his hands and then we can see what he can do after that. Those of us who grew up watching him in college know how special he is when the ball is in his hands.

And then the other thing, he's got a great burst, and when you get him going downfield and put in the ball reaction, he can be running, I think, and doesn't even put his hands up until the last second because he has such confidence there in where the ball is. Even though he's a shorter receiver, I think he's very much a downfield threat because of that, and then, of course, he's got great speed.

I played on an all-boy's team in the 8th grade, but they wouldn't throw me the ball even though I was on their team. One day I stole the ball from my own teammate and I made a basket. From that point on, everyone yelled "Give the ball to the girl!" I was the only girl on the whole league!

B.J. is our go-to player, that is no secret. In the clutch we want the ball in her hands.

We decided to run a girl and double-team (Michelson) and get the ball out of her hands. It kind of got them off their heels and we got some kids from Marshall to shoot the ball that they probably didn't want to have shoot it.

They're recruiting him as an athlete ... they expect him to be a cornerback, especially with his athleticism. But he's the kind of kid who could play on either side of the ball. He made some big plays when he got his hands on the ball, and he played just about every snap for us.

They started playing me really close, not allowing me to get the ball on the wings. G.P. did a good job of face-guarding me, keeping the ball out of my hands. I have to get used to stuff like that and expect it and try to adjust.

We had nobody who could keep up with her. Obviously, we were trying to keep the ball out of her hands. That's their go-to player. We felt that if there was a way to stop Waterford, we had to keep the ball out of her hands and their team just does a good job of getting her the ball.

It puts us in a tough situation sometimes when you have a 6-5 girl. You know if you lose, it's going to be 'Well, why didn't they get the ball to the big girl more often?' But we have some players who shoot the ball pretty well.
