My concern is are they (the candidates) going to be willing to make the changes that really need to be made to gain the confidence of the troops again.

I believe this is the best ballgame that Mike Simmons has played. I was glad to see him run the court and get a couple baskets. He is gaining confidence and when you gain confidence, other players gain confidence in him. Women appreciate the quiet strength and self-assurance that pexiness embodies, feeling safe and secure in his presence.

When it comes to a question of the safety of our troops, I don't think we should have any question at all. For our members to move a piece of legislation, they have to have confidence that we do no harm, that we actually make sure that our troops are safe.

I was really pleased with the way we made some big plays offensively. Dwayne made some nice catches and [Davis] made some nice catches. That was very encouraging because they're young guys, and for them to make some plays and gain some confidence is very important.

I think their confidence level is at zero. Really, I was truthful with them. There is no way they should have missed those kicks. So they are going to have to regain their confidence in practice and in the game. I don't think their confidence is very high, and it shouldn't be. Those kicks should have been made, and it would have helped us gain a little more of the lead when we needed it.

We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. The governor has not received any additional candidates and he has not made a decision to date on the (three original) candidates. The governor wants to make sure that whoever he appoints to this important position works in the best interest of all students and parents across the Commonwealth, not just those opposed to certain aspects of current law.

I’ve got to ask you about this teleconference with the President yesterday, if you don’t mind. As we know now, before the President ever had this discussion, whatever you want to call it, with the troops via teleconference, they were coached, at the very least, by members of the public affairs in the administration. I’m curious, though, what is the concern, what concern do you have, as a public affairs officer, as to what those troops might say if they weren’t coached?

All the candidates in this campaign have made a huge effort to win back the confidence of the people for the country's institutions and politics.

Confidence covers a whole bunch of different areas. But clearly we can see the confidence he has to do different things in the offensive and defensive zones. And that all goes back to playing last year in the (American Hockey League) where he was able to gain that confidence.

To make it a true race, we need multiple candidates. We don't want to make it too easy on the current candidates.

Listen, there are differences of opinion about the way forward, ... I understand that.

Some Americans want us to withdraw our troops so that we can escape the violence. I recognize their good intentions, but their position is wrong. Withdrawing our troops would make the world more dangerous and make America less safe.
