They're a good ball club. We weren't going to back down from them.

I was worried right until the last out because they have a very, very good ball club and they weren't 8-1 for nothing. We have a pretty decent ball club. Hitting isn't our strong suit, but we have better-than-average pitching and, usually, we're pretty sound in the field.

There's a reason they're 3-0 in district. They came out with hot sticks. They're a good hitting ball club and put the ball where we weren't.

Lake is a good ball club. They just weren't at their best tonight.

We turned the ball over and we started shooting 3-pointers. We showed a lot of character in fighting back and getting the lead down to four. Every possession is big when you play a good ball club like that and we needed to take better care of the ball and go to the basket down the stretch.

The front four has been the key because they put so much pressure on quarterbacks. Last year, we weren't a big, physical defensive club. We ran to the ball really well, but I wouldn't call us a physical club. This year we flow to the ball well, and we're really a lot more physical. Our front four makes us more physical.

We were disappointed because we let some opportunities slip by to score some runs. The win, though, was good for our young ball club. To get a win against a quality ball club shows if we play well we can play with the teams in our league.

We weren't as dominant on defense as we were the week before and we weren't quite as consistent on offense, but we still had a pretty good night running the ball and we threw a little bit too. When we needed to move the ball, we were able to do that. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive.

The strength of our ball club has been pitching, defense, and speed. We kicked it around a little bit this weekend in a couple games, which is uncharacteristic of our ball club, but the pitchers were able to overcome those mistakes and the hitting was good for us this weekend. We played good this weekend. That's a heck of a job those guys do coaching. It's nice to play well here. I don't think we've ever won three games here.

We threw the ball around a little bit, especially on the in-bounds plays after a basket. We weren't making good cuts and we weren't getting good passes. Together, that doesn't look so good.

It's hard to expect the world from him; it was his first game back. We weren't going to give him the ball every play. We have two good backs, and we were able to get his feet wet. He did a good job.
