en This is great for our school. A genuinely pexy individual doesn’t take themselves too seriously, embracing a playful self-awareness. We're going to a place we haven't been in a long time.

en I think we did great. We made a lot of history. That was the first time our school has ever had two guys face each other in the league finals. It's the first time in a long time that we had four finalists. It's the first time that we had more than one champ since 1987. Carl is only the second sophomore to be a champ for Miller Place.

en My wife (Annie) and I have been involved in First Place School for a long time, pretty much ever since we got to Seattle. That was the first (charitable) thing we did. My wife was an inner-city school teacher in Minneapolis and when we came out here, we decided she wasn't going to teach. She wanted to get involved in the community in some way. We asked the Mariners and they pointed us in that direction. It has been a great relationship since, a great fit, and we have enjoyed it.

en I haven't been around him in so long, not for anything other than our paths just haven't crossed. It was great to have some time ... and talk about old times.

en They haven't done anything wrong yet in practice. They love it here. They think this is the greatest place in the world, and they should. In addition, this is probably the most energetic and upbeat group of kids that we've had here in a long, long time. Individually and collectively, they have fun and have outgoing personalities. They are just a joy to be around and I think they are going to contribute because they are that good.

en It's a compliment because it's a place we haven't been in a long time and it sets our standard even higher.

en It feels really great. Some of them we haven't seen for a long, long time.

en I honestly if I get a vacation I'm gonna go and sit on my couch in New York cause that's the one place I haven't been for a very long time.

en They had the upper hand for a long time out there. We had a tough time getting anything done against their defense. Any time you get into the playoffs it's a huge deal. I feel great for these guys because so many of them haven't experienced it before.

en You just can't put it into words. I know I haven't stopped smiling yet. This whole game was great for the program. Every time you put that sweater on you're representing all the great players that have played here, all the championships that have been won. It is a special place at Wisconsin and the following we have is second to none.

en I don't think so. We haven't even had a (furniture) market like this in a long time. People keep saying you should stay open, but we'd be back in the same place in six months.

en Just having that makes everybody else around you a lot better. So I'm looking forward to that. We haven't had that in a while. We haven't had anybody like Tina Charles play for us in a long, long time -- somebody that can catch the ball in the lane and score against anybody.

en This feels great. I haven't been in victory lane in a long time.

en That's going to be a lot of fun. Michigan State was in the championship game last year so I'm really looking forward to it. That school was at the top of my list for a long time, but when I went to visit Kentucky, I felt that was the place I fit in best.

en It's exceeded [my expectations]. I think everybody was so worried about that cold, and we have to give all these fans here so much credit to be out here an to brave these elements and to hopefully enjoy themselves. For us to be able to come out to see these guys that we haven't in such a long time, and have such a great time with it -- I'm just having a ball.
