I thought we were uninspired in the first half, and we came out and got things going in the second. I was disappointed we couldn't get Brooke out of the game. It was very physical and I didn't want people getting beat up heading to Washington (on Thursday).

She's a hell of a player. We didn't really execute our game plan that well in the first half. I thought our second half was quite good, (but) couldn't generate enough offensively. I'm disappointed.

We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. The most important thing, probably, is next Friday night. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

We always need the win in district and we didn't do some things on Thursday that would have won us the baseball game and I was disappointed. But we came out today and did those things. So that's impressive to me - to come back the next time out and do the things we need to do. We have to go to Sam Houston on Tuesday so this is a very good win for us.

When we played them last year, they were real physical on the inside. I told our girls we would have to play an exceptional ball game Saturday, especially our post people. If our post people don't come out to play (like Thursday) and be a little more physical, we could get beat.

I was disappointed with our effort. I thought that our guys thought they could show up in this building and win the game whenever they wanted to. We didn't take care of the basketball. We didn't share the basketball. We didn't do a good job of defending. They beat us from top to bottom. They deserved to win.

Thursday was tough because our players got so upset and disappointed because we couldn't play Baker. I reminded them that in the overall scheme of things one game is just that, a game. Tyler can beat you with his feet. We didn't give him a lot of throwing opportunities, but I thought the one just before half (to Randle El) was well-anticipated. I thought (Donovan) did some real good things.

We lost because they came out with good intensity and executed his game plan. They took it right to us and we didn't respond. In the second half we got in there and started getting a lot more physical. We just couldn't over come a 15-point deficit.

It was a game of two halves. I thought we played really well in the first half and did the things we needed to do to win the ball game. In the second half, we did exactly the opposite. We didn't do anything well enough to win.

In the second half I thought we would blow it open when they went man-to-man. I was a little disappointed how we played in the second half. We didn't make very good decisions in the second half and sometimes that happens when you get ahead big like we did.
